Välinivelputki Omnitronic DS-1 säädettävä basso- ja diskanttikaiuttimille

Omnitronic DS-1 is an adjustable distance rod designed for bass and treble speakers. It enables configurable separation between low-frequency and high-frequency drivers to assist in aligning acoustical centers and optimizing speaker placement. Built for use in PA systems, stage rigs and monitor setups, the DS-1 facilitates mechanical mounting and helps improve coherence between speaker components by providing a stable, adjustable connection point for multi-way enclosures.

Advantages

The DS-1 offers a solid, adjustable connection that simplifies precise positioning of woofer and tweeter enclosures. Its telescopic design allows fine tuning of the distance between cabinets to address time-alignment and phase relationships. Constructed for professional audio applications, the rod supports consistent placement during transport and installation and reduces the need for custom mounts or temporary supports.

How to use

Attach the DS-1 between the bass and treble speaker enclosures following the mounting points on each cabinet. Extend or retract the rod to achieve the desired separation and visual alignment of driver centers, then secure the locking mechanism to prevent movement. Verify physical stability before applying power and perform acoustic checks to confirm improved coherence and timing between drivers. Make small adjustments while listening or measuring to find the optimal position for your specific speaker models and room acoustics.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the rod and locking hardware for wear or loosening, especially after transport. Use moderate torque when tightening and avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to speaker enclosures. For precision time alignment, combine mechanical adjustment with signal delay measurements and listening tests.
