Valosähköinen heijastusilmaisin Brennenstuhl RM L 3100

The Brennenstuhl RM L 3100 is a wired photoelectrical reflection detector designed for reliable presence and object detection. Powered by a 3V lithium battery, this compact detector combines a small footprint with steady detection performance suitable for industrial, commercial and residential monitoring tasks. Its wired output provides a consistent signal interface while the photoelectrical reflection principle enables detection of reflective surfaces or objects that interrupt the light path.

Advantages

The RM L 3100 offers dependable detection using photoelectrical reflection technology and a compact enclosure that facilitates installation in constrained spaces. Battery power (3V lithium) ensures operation where external power may be limited, and the wired connection provides a stable output signal for integration with control systems or alarms. The device is designed for straightforward mounting and maintenance to support long-term use.

Suitable for

• Basic object presence detection on conveyors and production lines
• Monitoring of doors, gates or access points where reflective interruption is expected
• Integration with alarm or control systems requiring a wired detector
• Small-scale industrial or commercial installations where compact sensors are needed

Key specifications

• Detection method: photoelectrical reflection
• Power supply: 3V lithium battery
• Connection: wired output for signal integration
• Design: compact enclosure suitable for confined mounting locations

How to use

Install the RM L 3100 so that its sensor axis faces the target surface or the path where objects will interrupt the reflected light. Secure the detector using appropriate fasteners and connect the wired output to the receiving control device or alarm input following the installation manual of the control system. Ensure the 3V lithium battery is installed correctly and verify the detector’s response by moving a reflective object through the detection zone. Adjust alignment and mounting position until reliable switching is achieved.

Recommendations

Place the detector where the reflective characteristics of the target are consistent and avoid mounting opposite highly diffusing or transparent materials that can reduce reflection. Check battery condition periodically and test signal integrity after mechanical adjustments or environmental changes to maintain reliable operation.
