VALUE Patch Panel Cat.6 19 tuumaa 24 porttia suojattu harmaa

The VALUE Kat.6 19" 24 Ports Shielded Grey patch panel is a rack-mounted component for structured copper cabling systems. It provides twenty-four shielded RJ45 ports in a 19-inch format with a grey front plate, designed to integrate into standard network racks and cabinets. The panel is intended to support Category 6 cabling for reliable high-speed data transmission while reducing electromagnetic interference through shielding.

Advantages

The shielded ports reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic disturbance, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple electrical devices. The 19" form factor ensures compatibility with standard racks and mounting hardware. A uniform grey finish offers a professional appearance that fits office and data centre installations. The panel's Category 6 design supports higher bandwidths and is suitable for gigabit Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling installations in small and medium offices
• Data centre patching and rack-mounted network equipment
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference
• Upgrading existing Cat5e systems to Cat6 performance

Key specifications

• Ports: 24 shielded RJ45 ports
• Format: 19-inch rack mount
• Category: Cat6 (Category 6)
• Shielding: Fully shielded ports and metal front plate for EMI protection
• Color: Grey finish
• Mounting: 1U height (standard rack unit)

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Terminate Category 6 cables on the rear IDC or punch-down connectors following the color code for T568A or T568B wiring standards. Route and secure cables to prevent strain on the terminations, and label each port for easy identification. Connect patch cords from active network devices or switches to the front RJ45 ports to complete the patching.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use certified Cat6 cables and shielded patch cords where shielding continuity is required. Maintain bend radii and avoid running data cables parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Verify wiring with a cable tester after installation and observe rack airflow and grounding practices to preserve signal quality.
