Valvontakamera Bosch FLEXIDOME multi 7000i IR 20MP IP66

The Bosch FLEXIDOME multi 7000i IR 20MP IP66 is a high-resolution outdoor surveillance camera designed for continuous monitoring. It delivers 20 megapixel image quality through a 3.7–7.7mm varifocal lens and integrates built-in infrared illumination for low-light and night-time visibility. Housed to IP66 standards, the unit resists dust and heavy rain, and incorporates on-board intelligent video analytics to support automated detection and event classification for reliable security operations.

Advantages

This camera combines ultra-high-resolution imaging with adjustable field of view, enabling detailed scene capture and flexible installation angles. The integrated IR illumination maintains image clarity in darkness while the IP66 enclosure provides environmental robustness for outdoor deployment. On-board analytics reduce false alarms by distinguishing motion types and generating metadata for efficient search and review. Network connectivity and standard IP camera features allow easy integration with VMS and recording infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and outdoor facility monitoring
• Parking lots and vehicle access control
• Large-area surveillance where high detail is required
• 24/7 critical infrastructure surveillance

How to use

Install the camera on a stable mount ensuring the lens and IR illuminators have a clear field of view. Connect the unit to a PoE-capable network switch or provide appropriate power according to installation guidelines, then configure network settings and time synchronization through the camera web interface or management software. Adjust the varifocal lens to set the desired framing and focus, and enable or tune analytics rules to match the monitored scene. Verify IR performance at night and check that the IP66 enclosure seals and mounting hardware are properly secured.

Recommendations

Place the camera at a height and angle that balances overall coverage with the need for facial or license plate detail, and periodically verify firmware updates and configuration backups to maintain security and functionality. For best low-light results, avoid strong backlighting and keep IR illuminators unobstructed.
