Vauvan kantoreppu Deuter Kid Comfort Pro, sininen, polyamidi, max. 22 kg, aurinkosuoja, sivutasku

The Deuter Kid Comfort Pro is a baby carrier backpack designed for safe, comfortable child transport during outdoor activities. It features an integrated, removable daypack, a fixed sunroof and a rear-view mirror for quick observation of the child. The Aircomfort Sensic Vario mesh back system transfers load efficiently while keeping the wearer’s back fully ventilated. A large, soft head pillow supports the child’s head for naps, and the side entry with an easy-to-use harness system meets TÜV GS safety standards.

Advantages

The Aircomfort mesh back system provides maximum ventilation and can reduce fluid loss by up to 25%, which lowers cardiovascular strain during use. The 210D polyamide fabric is lightweight yet tear- and abrasion-resistant and waterproof to 1500 mm. The VariSlide back-length adjustment and pull-forward hip fins allow precise fitting for long walks and heavier loads. Additional features include a padded hip belt, adjustable sternum belt, load adjustment straps, three outer pockets, a separate bottom compartment with removable base, compatibility with Deuter drinking systems up to 3.0 litres, and a PFC-free durable water-repellent (DWR) finish.

How to use

Place the child securely in the carrier using the side entry and fasten the harness according to size and age recommendations. Adjust the VariSlide back-length system so the carrier sits comfortably and the Aircomfort mesh aligns with your back for optimal ventilation. Use the pull-forward hip fins and padded hip belt to transfer load to the hips, and fine-tune load adjustment straps and the sternum belt for balanced weight distribution. Use the removable daypack for short excursions and store smaller items in the side pockets or bottom compartment.

Recommendations

Check that all buckles and straps are securely fastened before each use, follow the child weight and age guidelines provided by the manufacturer, and periodically inspect fabric and seams. For hydration on long tours, use a compatible Deuter drinking system up to 3.0 L. Clean the backpack according to the manufacturer’s care instructions and avoid aggressive detergents to preserve the PFC-free DWR coating.
