Verkkokaapeli BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-15M SFP+ 10GBASE-SR 15m sininen

The BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-15M SFP+ 10GBASE-SR 15m Blue is an active optical cable engineered for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and compatible short-range high-speed interconnects. At 15 meters length, this SFP+ AOC delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth data transmission for server-to-switch, switch-to-switch, and storage networking links. The cable’s lightweight, flexible construction and colour-coded blue jacket support tidy cable management and straightforward identification in dense rack environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides a compact, integrated transceiver solution with lower power consumption and reduced heat compared with some copper alternatives. The 10GBASE-SR specification ensures reliable short-range multimode transmission with consistent signal integrity. The SFP+ form factor allows hot-pluggable installation into compatible ports while the flexible cable design simplifies routing in constrained spaces.

How to use

Install the SFP-XG-D-AOC-15M by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on networking equipment until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are seated securely and verify link status via the connected devices. The cable requires no separate transceiver modules or fibre termination; handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Use this 15 m SFP+ AOC for short-range 10G links inside racks or between adjacent rows, choosing multimode-compatible ports and verifying device compatibility for SFP+ AOC modules. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; keep the cable free from kinks and away from sources of mechanical stress to ensure long-term reliability.
