Verkkokaapeli DIGITUS CAT 6 U-UTP ohut, 2 m, punainen, 10 kpl:n pakkaus

DIGITUS CAT 6 U-UTP Slim, 2 m, red, pack of 10 is a set of ten slim unshielded twisted-pair Ethernet patch cables designed for Gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling. Each 2 m cable offers CAT 6 performance with a reduced outer diameter and a flexible LSZH jacket, making them suitable for patch panels, switches and tightly packed racks in offices, data closets and home networks. The cables use stranded AWG 32/7 bare copper conductors, follow EIA/TIA 568B color coding and include molded RJ45 plugs with strain relief and locking lever protection.

Advantages

The slim 2.7 mm diameter and flexible jacket enable space-saving routing and simplified installation in high-density environments. CAT 6 transmission up to 250 MHz supports Gigabit speeds and PoE/PoE+ applications thanks to pure copper conductors. Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 standards ensures interoperability within structured cabling systems, while molded anti-kink sleeves and strain relief increase mechanical durability and reduce the risk of connector damage during frequent handling.

Suitable for

• Office network patching between switches, patch panels and wall outlets
• Home and home-office Ethernet connections
• High-density rack and cabinet environments with limited space
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices such as IP phones and access points

How to use

Connect one end of the RJ45 plug to the network device (switch, router, wall outlet or PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the patch panel or network equipment. Ensure the locking tab engages securely to prevent accidental disconnection. Route the slim cables through cable management channels or along patch panels, taking care to respect the recommended bending radius to maintain signal integrity. For PoE devices, confirm that both the switch and the connected device support the appropriate PoE class.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force when installing the slim cables. Use cable organizers and label both ends in multi-cable installations. Keep the cables separated from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference and follow structured cabling practices for patch panel terminations and port assignments.
