Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat5e RJ-45 0,5 m vihreä

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 S/FTP Cat5e networking cable is a 0.5 m patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. The cable uses foil and braid shielding (S/FTP) and a PVC jacket to reduce electromagnetic interference and improve signal integrity. The product features a protective boot with a length imprint and is coded to the TIA/EIA 568B standard.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP construction (foil and braid) provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference. The protected boot improves connector durability and strain relief, while the compact 0.5 m length supports tidy, high-density installations. TIA/EIA 568B coding ensures compatibility with standard network terminations.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network devices (switch to patch panel, switch to wall outlet)
• High-density rack and cabinet installations
• Environments with increased electromagnetic interference
• Home and small office network setups requiring Cat5e performance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router, patch panel or wall outlet) and the other end to the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields. For high-density setups, arrange cables neatly to maintain airflow and accessibility.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat5e S/FTP cable for short patching tasks and in installations where shielding is required. Do not exceed recommended bend radius for the cable and avoid placing heavy objects on top of it to preserve shielding and connector integrity.
