Verkkokaapeli Extralink Twisted pair CAT5E UTP (U/UTP) V2 100 m harmaa

Extralink Twisted pair CAT5E UTP (U/UTP) V2 is a 100 m indoor network cable designed for building local area networks. The cable contains four twisted pairs of 24 AWG pure copper conductors with PE insulation (0.9 mm conductor diameter including insulation) and a 0.5 mm PVC outer jacket. It supports Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) and Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbps) connections and is supplied on a self-unrolling reel for easy handling.

Advantages

The cable construction with four twisted pairs reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, while the pure copper 24 AWG conductors provide stable signal transmission. The PVC outer sheath is mechanically resistant and the self-unrolling package ensures convenient unwinding without tangles. The product is intended for indoor use and is suitable for office network installations and CCTV systems where reliable data transmission is required.

Suitable for

• Ethernet LAN installations (Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet)
• Office and indoor networking
• CCTV installations combining video signal and power transmission
• Patch panels, switches and structured cabling within buildings

Key specifications

• Cable type: UTP (U/UTP) Cat. 5e
• Length: 100 m
• Conductor: pure copper, 24 AWG
• Conductor diameter including insulation: 0.9 mm
• Insulation: PE
• Outer jacket: PVC, 0.5 mm
• Colour: Grey
• Connectors: None (bulk cable)

How to use

Measure and cut the required cable length from the reel. Strip the outer jacket and separate the twisted pairs as needed for termination. Terminate the conductors to appropriate RJ45 connectors or patch panels following Cat5e wiring standards (T568A or T568B). Route the cable indoors, avoiding sources of strong electromagnetic interference and secure it with appropriate cable clips or trays.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain recommended bend radius, avoid excessive pulling force during installation, and terminate the cable with quality connectors and proper crimping tools. Use this cable indoors and in dry environments as it is designed for indoor applications.
