Verkkokaapeli Extralink Twisted Pair CAT6A FTP (F/FTP) V2 sisäkäyttöön 500M harmaa

Extralink Cat. 6A FTP (F/FTP) V2 Indoor is a 500 m twisted-pair network cable designed for indoor stationary installations. It meets Category 6a performance with a bandwidth up to 500 MHz and supports data rates up to 10 Gb/s. The cable consists of four individually foil-shielded pairs plus an overall shield, 23 AWG pure copper conductors and an HDPE core, all enclosed in a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket for reduced smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire.

Advantages

The cable construction with individually shielded pairs and an additional overall foil shield reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for high-speed networks. Pure copper 23 AWG conductors and HDPE insulation provide stable electrical performance, while the LSZH outer jacket enhances safety in enclosed public or commercial spaces by limiting smoke and toxic gas release during combustion. A 500 m reel simplifies installation for long runs.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This indoor LSZH cable is not intended for outdoor use, direct burial, or installation in conduit exposed to moisture without additional protection. It is also not suitable where plug-and-play connectors are required, as the product is supplied as a bulk cable without pre-terminated ends.

How to use

Measure and cut the required cable length from the 500 m reel, then strip the outer jacket and individual pair shields as needed for termination. Install the cable along planned routes inside the building, avoiding sharp bends and sources of significant mechanical stress. Terminate with appropriate Cat6a-compatible connectors or patch panels ensuring correct pair alignment and proper shielding connection to maintain performance.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain recommended bend radius, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and use connectors and panels rated for Cat6a. Ensure shielding is properly grounded at termination points to reduce EMI and preserve signal quality.
