Verkkokaapeli Goobay 95488 RJ-45 Cat6 10 m musta

The Goobay 95488 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable is a 10 m black patch cable designed for wired Ethernet connections in home and office environments. Built to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds and is intended to reduce electromagnetic interference for reliable data transmission.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides stable high-speed data transfer up to 1000 Mbit/s, with S/FTP shielding that minimises crosstalk and outside interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure good contact and corrosion resistance, while robust sheathing offers mechanical protection for everyday use. The 10 m length offers flexibility in positioning networking equipment without signal degradation when used within standard Ethernet installation guidelines.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems to computers and network devices
• Wired Gigabit Ethernet for desktop PCs and networked equipment
• Home and small office networks where interference reduction is required
• Temporary or permanent patching between network ports in structured cabling

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat6
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Supported Ethernet: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other into the Ethernet port of your computer or network device. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; do not run the cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances. For best performance, keep connections and patching within recommended Cat6 installation practices.

Recommendations

Use the cable for Gigabit LAN connections up to typical Cat6 length limits. If permanent in-wall installation is required, verify local building and fire safety regulations and consider using cables rated for in-wall installation. Regularly inspect plugs and sheath for damage and replace the cable if connectors are bent or the jacket is compromised.
