How to use

Identify the MPO ports on the networking equipment and align the MPO connector keying before insertion. Plug the single MPO end and the 2x MPO end into the corresponding MPO ports on switches, adapters, or transceivers, ensuring secure seating. Avoid tight bends near the connector and route the cable following the data centre cable management practices to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this multi-mode MPO cable with compatible InfiniBand or fibre optic transceivers rated for multi-mode operation. Keep connectors capped when not in use and inspect endfaces for contamination before connecting.
