Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks 75513-SLY CAT7 U/FTP litteä RJ45, suojattu parikierretty, litteä rakenne

ShiverPeaks 75513-SLY CAT7 U/FTP flat RJ45 cable is a shielded twisted-pair network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet applications where a low-profile, flexible route is required. The flat design allows for installation under carpets, along skirting boards or through narrow channels while the individually foil-shielded twisted pairs (U/FTP) reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference for improved signal integrity. The cable comes with molded RJ45 connectors and is suitable for home and office networks, patching, and concealed cabling installations.

Advantages

The U/FTP construction provides per-pair foil shielding that improves immunity to external EMI and minimizes near-end and far-end crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives. The flat profile reduces bulk and simplifies routing in tight spaces, making it easier to conceal the cable under flooring or along trim. Molded RJ45 plugs ensure a secure connection and consistent performance in patching scenarios.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (Gigabit and above) in residential and commercial environments
• Under-carpet or along-baseboard cable routing where a flat cable is required
• Patch panels, switches and workstation connections in offices and home networks
• Temporary or permanent concealed cabling installations where low profile and shielding are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Class/category 7 (Cat7)
• Conductor configuration: Shielded twisted pair with foil shielding per pair (U/FTP)
• Connector type: RJ45 molded plugs on both ends
• Design: Flat, low-profile cable for concealed routing
• Shielding: Individual foil around each twisted pair to reduce crosstalk and EMI
• Typical applications: Ethernet data transmission, patching, concealed installations

How to use

Route the flat cable along the chosen path, keeping bends gentle to avoid kinking the conductors. Insert the RJ45 connector into the network device or patch panel until the latch engages. For under-carpet installations, ensure the cable is placed in locations that do not experience heavy foot traffic or furniture pressure to prevent damage. When connecting through metal enclosures or near strong electrical sources, verify that the shielding continuity is maintained at connection points if maximum EMI protection is required.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force during installation. Maintain separation from high-voltage power cables where possible. Use compatible RJ45-rated ports and ensure connectors are fully seated to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal integrity.
