Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks 75711-H0.5R-SET10 Cat 6 S/FTP PIMF, 0,5 m, 10 kpl:n pakkaus

ShiverPeaks 75711-H0.5R-SET10 is a Cat 6 S/FTP PIMF patch cable supplied as a set of 10 short-length cables (0.5 m) designed for reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections in racks, patch panels and desktop installations. The cable combines Category 6 performance with pair-isolated metal foil (PIMF) and overall foil plus braided drain shielding (S/FTP) to minimise crosstalk and electromagnetic interference in dense cabling environments while remaining halogen-free for safer use in enclosed spaces.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF construction provides improved protection against near-end and far-end crosstalk and external EMI compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet and high-frequency signals. Short 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and signal attenuation for patching between adjacent ports in racks and patch panels. Supplied as a set of 10, the cables simplify bulk deployment for structured cabling and network racks, and halogen-free materials reduce toxic gas emissions in case of fire.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in server racks
• Patching between network ports in data closets and equipment cabinets
• Short desktop connections between PCs and wall outlets
• High-density cabling where shielded Cat 6 performance is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 — suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil with braided drain plus individually shielded pairs (PIMF)
• Length: 0.5 m per cable
• Pack quantity: set of 10 cables
• Cable jacket: halogen-free material
• Connector type: standard RJ45 patch connectors

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on switches, patch panels or devices until they click into place. Use the 0.5 m cables to make short point-to-point connections between adjacent ports to reduce excess cable length and maintain tidy racks. For optimal shielding performance, ensure that connected equipment and panels provide proper grounding and that connectors and panels are compatible with shielded Ethernet cabling.

Recommendations

For best results in shielded installations, route these Cat 6 S/FTP cables together with other shielded cables and connect shields to a common ground at the patch panel or equipment chassis. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; keep bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter to preserve signal integrity.
