Verkkokaapeli shiverpeaks BASIC-S sininen 30 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Blue networking cable is a 30 m Cat7 S/FTP patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in wired Ethernet networks. It comes with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to ensure consistent contact performance and reduced corrosion over time. The S/FTP construction—individually screened pairs within an overall foil shield—provides improved protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, supporting stable connections in environments with multiple electronic devices.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable supports high data rates and offers superior shielding compared with lower-category cables, reducing crosstalk and external interference. The gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance connector durability and signal integrity. The 30 m length allows flexible routing between network equipment without the need for additional couplers or splices. The blue jacket makes cable identification easier in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling for home and small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS devices and desktop computers
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD video streaming and large file transfers
• Environments with electrical noise where extra shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 (S/FTP shielding)
• Length: 30 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable jacket colour: blue
• Pair configuration: individually shielded twisted pairs with overall foil

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on the switch, router or computer. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks during installation; maintain a gentle bend radius and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines where possible. If running the cable in cable trays or behind furniture, route it to minimise mechanical stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable within its specified length and avoid combining it with damaged connectors or uncertified couplers. When installing in areas with significant electromagnetic interference, keep the cable orientation and pair twists intact and avoid parallel runs with mains power lines to preserve signal quality.
