Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25V

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25V is a 0.25 m Cat7 networking cable designed for short-distance, high-performance Ethernet connections. This violet cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and it is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to ensure reliable conductivity and improved contact durability. The cable is suitable for connecting network devices where a compact, well-shielded link is required.

Advantages

The combination of Cat7 specification and S/FTP shielding provides increased bandwidth headroom and better protection against external interference compared with lower-category unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve signal transmission and resist corrosion over time, while the short 0.25 m length minimises cable clutter and signal loss in tight installations. The violet jacket offers easy visual identification in structured cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between routers, switches, patch panels and network interface cards
• High-speed data transfer in server rooms or wiring closets where space is limited
• Home or office setups requiring well-shielded links to reduce EMI impact
• Environments where colour-coded cabling simplifies identification and organisation

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Violet

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other connector into the corresponding port on your switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. The short 0.25 m length is intended for close-proximity connections; avoid bending the cable sharply near the connector boots to maintain shielding integrity and signal performance.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short, high-quality patch connections where shielding and minimal latency are priorities. For longer runs, select a longer Cat7 or appropriate Category cable to avoid strain and preserve signal integrity. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise when possible to maximise performance.
