Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25W-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25W-SET5 is a 0.25 m Cat7 networking cable designed for short patch connections between devices in home or office networks. The cable features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors with copper plating to ensure consistent signal transmission and contact reliability. Its compact length and white jacket make it suitable for tidy installations where minimal slack and discrete cabling are required.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to provide robust protection against crosstalk and external noise, improving transmission stability at high frequencies. The Cat7 specification supports high data rates and bandwidth, while the copper-plated RJ-45 contacts offer low contact resistance and reliable continuity. The short 0.25 m length reduces latency and signal degradation for direct device-to-device links and keeps cable runs compact and manageable.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in rack or desktop setups where only a short patch lead is required
• Linking a modem, router or switch to a nearby device with minimal cable slack
• Private WAN/LAN patching inside server cabinets or AV installations with limited space

Key specifications

• Cable category: Class F / Cat7
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: copper-plated contacts
• Jacket color: white

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into matching network ports on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable for short interconnections such as connecting a switch to a patch panel or linking a router to a nearby NAS. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and do not stretch the cable; maintain gentle curves to preserve the shielding and internal pair geometry. For installations inside cabinets or racks, run the cable along designated cable guides to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair this short Cat7 cable with similarly specified S/FTP or shielded components and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors regularly for secure seating and replace the cable if any physical damage to the jacket or connectors is observed.
