Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25W-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25W-SET5 is a 0.25 m Cat7 networking cable engineered for short-distance connections where high data throughput and signal integrity are required. This cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to maintain stable contact and resist corrosion. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations in home or office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves protection against external and inter-pair interference, which supports consistent high-speed data transfer. The Cat7 specification provides performance margins for Gigabit and multi-Gigabit networks. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable conductivity and long-term contact stability. The short 0.25 m length minimizes signal loss and cable clutter for connections between closely positioned devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting a router to a nearby switch or modem where short cable runs are preferred
• Desk or rack-mounted devices with adjacent ports such as PCs, NAS, or network appliances
• High-speed Ethernet links in home offices, small offices, and AV setups
• Situations requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and stable link quality

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil around each pair plus overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: White

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks to secure the connection. Use the 0.25 m cable for devices that are close together to avoid excess cable and ensure tidy cable management. Verify link status on network devices after connection; the cable is suitable for standard Ethernet ports and does not require special drivers or configuration.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable, and keep it away from high-power electrical cables to minimize interference. Use the short length to reduce clutter in dense setups and replace the cable if connector damage or degraded contact is observed.
