Verkkolaajennin Renkforce RF-3684874 2-johdin jopa 300 m, 200 Mbit/s

The Renkforce RF-3684874 2-wire network extender transfers Ethernet signals over existing two-conductor cabling to extend wired network connectivity without installing new Ethernet cable. It supports transmission distances up to 300 m and maximum throughput of 200 MBit/s, enabling connection of switches, routers, IP cameras, or other Ethernet devices where dedicated Cat5/6 runs are unavailable or impractical. The device is intended for simple point-to-point extension over legacy building wiring or dedicated two-core lines in commercial and residential environments.

Advantages

This network extender provides a practical solution for using existing two-wire infrastructure to carry Ethernet traffic, saving time and installation costs compared with laying new Ethernet cable. With support for up to 300 m range and data rates up to 200 MBit/s, it offers adequate performance for common wired applications such as IP surveillance, VoIP gateways, access points, and basic office networking. The unit is compact and designed for straightforward integration with standard Ethernet devices, minimizing changes to network topology.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet to IP cameras and networked surveillance devices over existing two-core wiring
• Connecting remote network devices (switches, routers, VoIP adapters) where new cabling is impractical
• Temporary or permanent wired links in offices, homes, or small industrial sites
• Retrofit projects using legacy two-conductor building cabling

Key specifications

• Transmission medium: existing two-conductor (2-wire) cabling
• Maximum range: up to 300 m over suitable two-core wiring
• Maximum data throughput: up to 200 MBit/s
• Interface: Ethernet connection to network devices (RJ45)
• Application environment: residential, office, light industrial use

How to use

Install one extender unit at each end of the two-wire run: connect the Ethernet port of the local network device (switch, router or camera) to the extender’s Ethernet interface, and connect the two-conductor cable between the extender pair. Power the units according to the manufacturer’s instructions and verify link status via the device LEDs or connected equipment. Ensure both ends are configured for the required link speed and that cabling polarity and continuity are correct before placing the link into service.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use continuous two-conductor runs with good electrical continuity and minimal splices. Avoid routing the two-wire cable alongside high-voltage lines or heavy electrical interference sources. For applications requiring sustained high throughput or low latency (for example, high-resolution video streams or mission-critical services), verify actual link speed and performance in situ and consider conventional Ethernet cabling if full gigabit bandwidth or longer distances are required.
