Verkkopatchkaapeli DIGITUS CAT 6 U-UTP ohut, 0,3 m, vihreä, 10 kpl:n pakkaus

DIGITUS CAT 6 U-UTP Slim, 0.3 m, green, pack of 10 are slim Ethernet patch cables designed for short interconnections and patching in high-density network environments. Each 0.3 m cable complies with CAT 6 performance parameters and supports data transmission up to 1 Gbit/s at frequencies up to 250 MHz. The cables use stranded AWG 32/7 bare copper conductors in an unshielded twisted pair (U-UTP) structure and feature a molded anti-kink sleeve with strain relief and locking lever protection to reduce connector damage during frequent use.

Advantages

The reduced outer diameter of approximately 2.7 mm and a flexible LSZH jacket provide space-saving installation and improved cable management in patch panels, switches and confined cable ducts. Construction to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 CAT 6 standards ensures consistent electrical characteristics and compatibility with common Ethernet applications, while support for PoE and PoE+ with pure copper conductors enables power delivery over the same cable. The cables are rated for up to 750 mating cycles and meet flame retardancy and smoke emission requirements for safer indoor use.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches, patch panels and wall outlets in data cabinets
• Office and home network setups with limited space behind racks or in cable trays
• High-density cabling environments where slim cable diameter improves airflow and organization
• Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) devices such as VoIP phones, access points and cameras

How to use

Connect each end of the DIGITUS CAT 6 U-UTP Slim patch cable to the RJ45 ports of network devices such as switches, patch panels, wall sockets or network interface cards. Ensure the locking lever is fully engaged to maintain a secure connection and route the slim cables to minimize bend radius violations. For installations in racks or cabinets, group and guide the cables using horizontal managers or Velcro ties to preserve the small diameter benefits and maintain airflow.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and prolonged compression of the cable; maintain a bending radius of at least 15 times the cable diameter. Use the slim CAT 6 patch cords for short interconnects and patching within cabinets or between closely mounted devices. Verify PoE power requirements and device compatibility when powering equipment over the cable.
