Vertiv AV3216-202 2x16 CAT5 digitaalinen KVM-kytkin - 16-porttinen

The Vertiv AV3216-202 is a 16-port digital KVM switch that stands out by allowing two local users to simultaneously access and control up to 16 servers over CAT5 cabling. This dual-user capability is not common in basic KVM switches, making it ideal for collaborative environments or when a backup operator is needed. The switch uses Avocent KVM Access Modules (sold separately) to connect each server via a single CAT5 cable, reducing cable clutter and enabling server placement up to 50 meters away.

Highlights

• 16 computer ports with 2 local user consoles
• CAT5 connectivity for neat, long-distance server connections
• Rack-mountable 1U design with included rackmount kit
• On-screen display (OSD) for easy server selection and configuration
• Supports USB and PS/2 keyboard/mouse emulation
• Virtual media support for remote file transfers
• Daisy-chain up to 256 servers

In daily use

Two operators can work side by side, each with their own keyboard, mouse, and monitor connected to the switch's local console ports. Switching between servers is quick using hotkeys, front panel buttons, or the OSD. The switch is OS-independent, so it works with Windows, Linux, Mac, Solaris, and other systems. Audio support is available through the KVM access modules, and virtual media allows USB devices to be shared with connected servers.
