Vesiblokki Alphacool Core 1 Aurora Carbon Brass Copper Nickel Black 72mm

The Alphacool Core 1 Aurora Carbon Brass Copper Nickel Black 72mm water block is an all-metal CPU cooler engineered for modern desktop processors. Constructed from brass with a nickel-plated copper base and finished in a black carbon look, the Core 1 combines a 3D-Jetplate flow structure with a proven cross-slot coolant distribution technique to manage rising CPU heat. The unit measures 72 mm × 72 mm × 26.5 mm, includes 5V aRGB illumination on Aurora models, and supports major sockets including AM5, AM4 and LGA 1700.

Advantages

The Core 1 integrates an industrial-grade 3D-Jetplate to improve heat transfer and uses cross-slot distribution and internal O-rings to ensure consistent coolant flow across the enlarged nickel-plated copper contact surface. Its housing is machined from a solid brass block with nickel-plated connectors, offering durable construction and full CPU coverage for larger dies. The revised mounting system reduces the number of screws and simplifies installation while maintaining secure contact.

Suitable for

• Cooling high-performance desktop CPUs
• Custom water-cooling loops in PC builds
• Systems using Socket AM5, Socket AM4 or LGA 1700
• Setups that require a compact 72×72×26.5 mm water block with a full-coverage copper base

How to use

Pre-assemble the backplate on compatible Intel motherboards using the four spacers provided. Apply an appropriate amount of thermal paste to the CPU heat spreader. Position the matching mounting frame over the water block and align it with the spacers, then secure the assembly by fastening the four nuts. Connect the cooler into your custom loop using the nickel-plated connectors and ensure correct flow direction and leak testing before powering the system. Follow standard water-cooling practices for filling, bleeding air, and checking fittings.

Recommendations

Use compatible thermal paste and torque the mounting nuts evenly to avoid uneven pressure. Perform a leak test at low pump speed for at least 30 minutes before normal operation. For best results, pair the Core 1 with a quality pump and radiator appropriate for your CPU TDP.
