Vesipumppu Gardena 1768-20

The Gardena 1768-20 water pump is a high-performance electric garden pump with a 900 W motor engineered for irrigation and water transfer tasks. It provides a maximum pressure of 3.5 bar and a nominal flow rate up to 5900 l/h, enabling efficient supply to sprinklers, drip systems and watering hoses. The pump supports a delivery height up to 35 m and features an IPX8 protection rating for reliable operation when handling water. A 15 m power cable offers flexibility in placement and connection during outdoor use.

Advantages

The pump combines a powerful 900 W motor with high flow capacity to handle medium to large garden watering jobs while maintaining steady pressure. Its IPX8 rating ensures resistance to water exposure, and the extended delivery height expands placement options. The integrated thermal protection helps prevent motor overload during prolonged operation, and the long power cable reduces the need for extension leads in typical garden setups.

Suitable for

• Supplying water to garden sprinklers and rotor systems
• Feeding drip irrigation and soaker hoses for flower beds and vegetable plots
• Filling and emptying garden ponds or water reservoirs
• Water transfer between rainwater tanks and irrigation networks

Key specifications

• Power input: 900 W
• Maximum pressure: 3.5 bar
• Maximum flow rate: 5900 l/h
• Maximum delivery height: 35 m
• Protection class: IPX8 (waterproof)
• Power cable length: 15 m

How to use

Place the pump on a stable, level surface close to the water source, ensuring suction and discharge connections are secure and free of debris. Connect appropriate garden hoses or fittings to the pump outlet and the water supply to the inlet. Plug the power cable into a properly grounded outdoor socket and switch the pump on. Monitor the system for correct pressure and flow; adjust connected irrigation devices as required. After use, switch off the pump, disconnect power, and drain hoses if frost or long-term storage is expected.

Recommendations

Ensure inlet filters are clean and hoses are undamaged to maintain flow and prevent cavitation. Avoid running the pump dry and protect the power connection from direct exposure to water. For winter storage, drain the unit completely and store it in a frost-free environment.
