VGA-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS78056-15 15 m VGA/VGA

The ShiverPeaks BS78056-15 VGA/VGA cable is a 15 m video connection cable with D-Sub (VGA) connectors on both ends. It is designed to transmit analog video signals between computers, monitors, projectors and other display devices that use standard VGA ports. The cable has a black outer jacket and a length suitable for installations where devices are placed at a distance from each other, such as meeting rooms, classrooms and home theater arrangements.

Advantages

This VGA cable offers a long reach of 15 m while maintaining the standard VGA connection format, enabling simple plug-and-play connection without the need for adapters when both devices have VGA ports. The D-Sub connectors provide a secure, screw-fastened fit that reduces accidental disconnection. The cable construction supports stable analog video transmission for typical VGA resolutions and is suitable for use with legacy and current VGA-compatible displays and projectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a monitor located across a larger room
• Linking a computer to a projector for presentations
• Home theater setups where the display device is placed away from the source
• Temporary or permanent AV installations in classrooms and conference rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connectors: VGA (D-Sub) to VGA (D-Sub)
• Signal type: Analog video (VGA)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one VGA (D-Sub) connector to the VGA output of the source device (for example a PC or laptop) and connect the other end to the VGA input of the display device (monitor or projector). Tighten the connector thumbscrews to secure the connection and reduce the risk of loosening. Configure the display settings on the source device to match the native resolution of the display or the projector. For best results, use the cable for resolutions supported by standard VGA specifications and avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical wiring to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For long-term installations, route the cable away from fluorescent lights and power cables and avoid sharp bends or kinks. If image quality degradation occurs at higher resolutions, verify source and display settings, inspect connector seating, and try a shorter cable run or a signal booster when required.
