VGA-kaapeli ShiverPeaks VGA/VGA 20 m

The ShiverPeaks VGA/VGA 20m cable is a 20-metre analog video cable with VGA (D-Sub) connectors on both ends, designed to link computers, laptops or video sources with monitors, projectors and other display devices. Its extended length supports installations where devices are positioned far apart while maintaining straightforward plug-and-play connectivity. The cable’s black jacket and conventional VGA terminations provide a familiar, industry-standard interface for analog RGB signals.

Advantages

This VGA cable offers a long 20 m reach that enables flexible equipment placement without the need for signal extenders. The use of standard VGA (D-Sub) connectors ensures compatibility with a wide range of legacy and current displays. The cable’s construction focuses on consistent analog video transmission over greater distances to reduce the risk of image degradation when compared with lower-quality or mismatched cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to monitors located several metres away
• Setting up projectors in meeting rooms, classrooms or event spaces
• Home theatre or media setups that use VGA-capable displays
• Temporary installations where a long, robust VGA cable is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Connector type: VGA (D-Sub) to VGA (D-Sub)
• Signal type: Analog RGB video
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one VGA (D-Sub) end of the cable to the VGA output on your computer or video source and the other end to the VGA input on your monitor or projector. Tighten the thumbscrews on both connectors to ensure a secure mechanical connection. Power on the source and the display, then select the VGA input on the display device if necessary. Adjust the display resolution and refresh rate on the computer to match the capabilities of the monitor or projector for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

For long runs like 20 metres, position the cable away from high-power electrical cables and sources of electromagnetic interference to minimise potential signal noise. If you experience reduced image quality at higher resolutions, consider lowering the resolution or using a shorter cable run where possible, or evaluate a digital interface solution if available on your devices.
