Videokaapeli-adapteri DisplayPort DVI ShiverPeaks BS77492-1

The ShiverPeaks BS77492-1 is a 2-meter video cable adapter designed to convert DisplayPort output to a DVI input. It enables a direct wired connection between DisplayPort-equipped sources (such as desktop PCs or laptops) and DVI monitors or projectors. The adapter is finished in black and offers a straightforward solution for transmitting video signals where a DisplayPort-to-DVI connection is required.

Advantages

This DisplayPort to DVI cable adapter provides a stable wired link for digital video transmission over a 2 m length, reducing the need for close device placement. Its single-cable design simplifies connectivity without requiring separate adapters or converters. The black exterior is unobtrusive and suited to standard workstation or home entertainment setups, while the fixed cable length offers predictable signal integrity for typical desktop and presentation distances.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DisplayPort-equipped computer to a DVI monitor
• Linking laptops with DisplayPort output to projectors with DVI input
• Extending video cable reach in office and classroom environments
• Replacing short or damaged DisplayPort-to-DVI leads

Key specifications

• Connector type: DisplayPort (source) to DVI (display)
• Cable length: 2 meters
• Color: Black
• Signal type: Digital video transmission
• Typical applications: Desktop displays, projectors, workstations

How to use

Plug the DisplayPort end into the video output of your computer or laptop and connect the DVI end to the monitor or projector input. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display settings on the source system to recognize the external display. No additional software is required; the adapter carries the video signal directly. For systems with multiple display outputs, use your operating system's display settings to arrange and enable the connected screen.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter with devices that support the same resolution and refresh rate ranges. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from high-interference power sources. If the display is not detected immediately, check connector seating and source display settings before testing with alternative cables or ports.
