Videokaapeliadapteri ShiverPeaks BS77492-1

The ShiverPeaks BS77492-1 is a 2-meter video cable adapter with a DisplayPort connector on one end and a DVI connector on the other. Designed to bridge modern DisplayPort sources and DVI displays, this cable enables transmission of video signals between compatible devices. The 2 m length offers flexibility for desk, home theater or office setups while the molded connectors and jacketed cable aim to provide reliable physical durability and consistent video output.

Advantages

This DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter cable supports straightforward, point-to-point video connection without needing additional converters or power. The 2-meter length reduces the need for precise device placement and helps route the cable neatly in a workspace. Durable molded connector housings and a protective cable jacket are intended to withstand repeated insertion and everyday handling. The adapter is suitable for systems where a DisplayPort output must feed a DVI input, preserving video signal integrity for supported resolutions.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or graphics card with DisplayPort output to a monitor with DVI input
• Home office and desk setups requiring flexible cable routing
• Temporary or permanent AV installations where DisplayPort-to-DVI conversion is needed

Key specifications

• Connector A: DisplayPort (male)
• Connector B: DVI (male)
• Cable length: 2 meters
• Cable type: video adapter cable (DisplayPort to DVI)
• Construction: molded connector housings with protective cable jacket

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end to the source device's DisplayPort output and insert the DVI end into the display's DVI input. Ensure both devices are powered off when making the physical connection, then power them on and select the correct input on the display if necessary. Adjust the display resolution and refresh rate within the operating system or graphics driver to match the capabilities of the monitor. For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this adapter where a direct DisplayPort-to-DVI link is appropriate and the devices support the required video formats. Verify the display's maximum supported resolution and set compatible output settings on the source device. Avoid exposing the cable to liquids, extreme heat or frequent kinking to maintain long-term performance.
