Videokaapelisovitin VGA D-Sub DisplayPort LogiLink CV0059B

The LogiLink CV0059B is a compact video cable adapter that converts a VGA (D-Sub) source to a DisplayPort display. It provides a simple physical interface with a male VGA connector on one end and a DisplayPort connector on the other, enabling connection of legacy computers, laptops or other VGA output devices to modern monitors and projectors that accept DisplayPort input. The adapter is lightweight and intended for plug-and-play use without additional drivers, making it suitable for mobile setups, meeting rooms and home offices.

Advantages

The adapter enables compatibility between older VGA output devices and DisplayPort displays while preserving a straightforward, single-cable connection. Its compact white housing reduces cable clutter and is easy to carry. Designed for direct connection, the adapter supports common display resolutions provided by the source device and requires no software installation or external power in typical setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy desktop PCs or laptops with VGA output to modern DisplayPort monitors
• Presentations using projectors that accept DisplayPort input
• Portable workstation setups and travel when only VGA output is available
• Temporary connections in meeting rooms, classrooms or training facilities

Key specifications

• Connector 1: VGA (D-Sub) male
• Connector 2: DisplayPort (female/integrated cable end)
• Product colour: White
• Form factor: Compact inline adapter
• Usage: Passive adapter for analogue VGA to digital DisplayPort connection (requires compatible source and display)

How to use

Connect the VGA (D-Sub) male end of the LogiLink CV0059B to the VGA output of your computer or laptop. Plug the DisplayPort end into the DisplayPort input on the monitor or projector. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display. The adapter is designed for direct plug-and-play operation; if the display does not show an image, verify source resolution settings and cable seating. No driver installation is normally required.

Recommendations

For best results, use with displays that support the resolution and refresh rate provided by your VGA source. Ensure connectors are firmly seated and avoid excessive bending near the connector ends. If no image appears, check display input selection and adjust the source resolution to a standard VGA-compatible mode.
