DELOCK 86912 is a straight electric wire connector designed for mains applications with a rated voltage range of 85–260 V. The connector is housed in a compact black enclosure with dimensions of 25 × 114 mm and is supplied as a single unit. It is intended for inline connection or extension of electrical wiring where a durable, weather-resistant join is required.

Advantages

The connector features an IP68 dust- and waterproof housing that provides enhanced protection against dirt and moisture for outdoor power cable connections. Its straight inline form factor simplifies installation in tight runs and helps maintain a continuous cable route without additional bends. The compact size allows use in confined spaces while the robust construction supports repeated handling and secure mating of conductors.

Suitable for

• Outdoor electrical installations requiring waterproof connections
• Extending or joining mains power cables in equipment or junction runs
• Environments where a compact, straight inline connector is needed
• Applications exposed to dust, rain or moisture

Key specifications

• Voltage rating: 85–260 V suitable for standard mains applications
• Form factor: straight inline connector
• Housing color: black
• Housing dimensions: 25 × 114 mm (width × length)
• Ingress protection: IP68 for dust- and waterproof performance
• Quantity: single unit

How to use

Prepare the cable ends according to applicable safety standards and local regulations, ensuring power is disconnected before starting work. Insert the stripped conductors into the connector terminals following the manufacturer’s wiring orientation, secure the connections and assemble the housing to achieve the sealed joint. Verify correct electrical continuity and insulation before restoring mains power.

Recommendations

Use the connector only within its rated voltage range and intended environmental conditions. For long-term outdoor installations, periodically inspect seals and cable entries for wear or damage and replace the connector if ingress or corrosion is detected.
