Goobay CAT 6 verkkokaapeli RJ-45 Cat6 2 m vihreä

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable is a 2 m network cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission in home and small business networks. It uses S/FTP shielding and quality inner conductors to minimise interference and provide a stable connection. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the contact surfaces are aluminium/copper plated to ensure good conductivity. The cable is finished in green for easy identification.

Advantages

CAT 6 construction combined with S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, enabling consistent performance at higher data rates. The aluminium/copper plated contacts improve signal transfer and resist corrosion. Robust cable sheathing and precisely moulded RJ-45 plugs help ensure long-lasting mechanical and electrical reliability.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems in home and office networks
• Patch panels and wall sockets for LAN installations
• Wired connections for IP cameras, VoIP phones and networked printers

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Cable type: Straight-through (patch) cable
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided shields)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Aluminium/copper
• Colour: Green

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (router, switch, computer, or patch panel) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors click into place and avoid tight bends near the ends to maintain signal quality. For permanent installations, route the cable neatly through cable channels or clips to prevent strain.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT 6 patch cable for connections within the same room or between adjacent network racks. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Inspect connectors periodically for dust and damage and replace the cable if connector contacts or the sheath are compromised.
