Verkkokaapeli Goobay CAT 6-100 UTP RJ-45 1 m harmaa

The Goobay CAT 6-100 UTP RJ-45 1m Grey is a 1‑metre network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for Ethernet connections in home and office networks. It is an unscreened twisted pair (UTP) cable manufactured to EIA/TIA 568 pair-sequence standards and fitted with molded plugs featuring strain relief and gold-plated contacts for reliable connection and reduced corrosion.

Advantages

This CAT 6 cable supports high-speed data transfer suitable for typical Gigabit Ethernet applications. The molded connector with strain relief improves mechanical durability at the plug, while gold-plated contacts provide stable electrical contact and resist oxidation. The unscreened twisted pair design offers a balance of performance and flexibility for short runs and standard network environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and networked printers
• Home and small office Ethernet installations
• Short cable runs where UTP performance is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable type: CAT 6 UTP (unscreened twisted pair)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Pair sequence: according to EIA/TIA 568
• Contacts: gold plated
• Connector: molded with strain relief
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as a PC, router or switch until it clicks into place. Ensure the cable is not sharply bent near the molded strain relief and avoid placing it under tension. For optimal performance route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight coils.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Goobay CAT 6 UTP cable for standard Gigabit Ethernet connections within local wiring segments. For installations requiring shielding, longer runs, or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cables (STP/FTP) or higher-specification cabling.
