Kaapeliadapteri Goobay 74399 USB 3.0 Type-A RJ45 10 m musta hopea

The Goobay 74399 Cable Gender Changer is a 10 m USB 3.0 Type A to RJ45 cable that connects a router, modem or network switch to a USB-A port on a laptop or tablet. The integrated smart chip in the USB plug provides a compact Ethernet solution for USB-A devices that lack a built‑in RJ45 port, offering immediate wired network access without additional drivers. Nickel-plated contacts and a dual-tone black and silver design ensure reliable connections and durable contact surfaces.

Advantages

This USB 3.0 Type A to RJ45 cable eliminates the need for separate bulky adapters by using an internal smart chip in the USB plug, enabling plug-and-play wired Ethernet for USB-A devices. With a 10 m length it provides flexible placement of networking equipment, and nickel-plated contacts improve signal reliability and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Connecting a router, modem or network switch to a laptop or tablet with a USB-A port
• Extending wired network reach where direct RJ45 ports are unavailable
• Temporary or semi-permanent office and home network setups

How to use

Plug the USB 3.0 Type A connector into the USB-A port of the laptop or tablet and connect the RJ45 end to the router, modem or network switch. Ensure both devices are powered on; the connected device should detect the adapter and enable wired network access. No extra drivers are typically required due to the built-in smart chip, but check the host device’s network settings if a manual configuration is needed.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight bends. Use the 10 m length to position networking equipment for optimal signal and convenience. Verify device compatibility with USB-A host ports and, if necessary, consult your operating system’s device manager for driver updates.
