Litteä patch-kaapeli Goobay CAT 6 2 m U/UTP sininen

The Goobay Flat Patch Cable CAT 6, 2 m U/UTP in blue is a slim Ethernet cable engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. The cable uses CAT 6 specifications and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable signal transfer and reduced oxidation. Its flat profile and flexible sheath make it suitable for routing along skirting boards, under carpets or wooden floors and through narrow gaps where round cables would be difficult to place.

Advantages

This flat CAT 6 patch cable provides consistent Gigabit-class performance and low signal loss thanks to high-quality inner conductors and precision-molded RJ-45 plugs. The U/UTP construction balances shielding and flexibility for common indoor installations, while the gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability over time. The thin, space-saving design allows discreet installation in constrained spaces without bulky cable management.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between routers, switches, modems and PCs
• Gigabit LAN setups requiring CAT 6 performance
• Routing along skirting boards, under carpets or behind furniture
• Home offices, small business networks and media streaming devices

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6 performance for high-speed Ethernet
• Length: 2 meters
• Design: flat profile for low-height routing
• Conductor type: high-quality copper inner conductors for stable signal
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall, with twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Color: blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your router, switch or modem and the other plug to your PC, NAS or network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure contact. For routing under carpets or along skirting boards, press the flat cable into place and avoid sharp bends with radii smaller than the cable width to preserve conductor integrity. Do not subject the cable to heavy compression from furniture or appliances.

Recommendations

For optimal network performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources. Use the flat CAT 6 cable for indoor installations; if you require outdoor routing or exposed installations, choose a cable with appropriate UV and weather protection. Test connections after installation to confirm link speed and signal stability.
