Patch-kaapeli Goobay CAT 5e 2x 90° kulma U/UTP valkoinen 10 m

The Goobay CAT 5e Patch Cable (10 m) is a white U/UTP network cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office environments. It conforms to the Cat5e standard and is equipped with two 90° angled RJ-45 plugs with gold plating to improve conductivity and wear resistance. The cable construction uses high-quality inner conductors and a robust outer sheath to provide stable connections at typical Ethernet speeds.

Advantages

This patch cable combines Cat5e performance with space-saving 90° angled connectors, making it easier to connect devices near walls or in crowded patch panels. The unshielded twisted pair design is suitable for standard network installations, and the gold-plated RJ-45 plugs reduce contact corrosion and improve long-term signal integrity. The 10 m length offers flexibility for routing between network equipment without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches in home networks
• Patch panels and wall-mounted sockets with limited clearance
• Office workstations and small server cabinets
• Temporary setups or structured cabling runs up to 10 m

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: 2 × RJ-45, 90° angled, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: White
• Brand: WENTRONIC (Goobay product)
• MPN: 96074

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the corresponding device (for example, a router, switch or PC). The 90° angled plugs allow the cable to sit close to walls or devices; ensure the cable is routed without sharp bends and avoid pinching. Verify link/activity LEDs on network devices to confirm a successful connection. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat5e cable for networks up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet) where Cat5e is sufficient. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce interference, and choose shielded cables if the installation environment has significant electromagnetic noise.
