Verkkokaapeli Goobay 95278-GB violetti 3 m Cat6 U/UTP

The Goobay 95278-GB Purple 3m Cat6 U/UTP is a 3-metre patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office networks. Built to Cat6 standard with U/UTP (unscreened twisted pair) construction and EIA/TIA 568 pair sequencing, the cable provides support for high-bandwidth data transmission. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and a molded slimline strain relief that includes a printed length indication.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable combines standardized wiring and quality contacts to ensure consistent signal integrity for gigabit and multi-gigabit applications. The unscreened twisted pair design reduces crosstalk when correctly installed, while the gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability. The molded slim line strain relief minimizes stress at the connector and is compatible with patch panels and closely spaced ports. The purple jacket provides clear visual identification of the cable in crowded installations.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting routers, switches and networked computers
• Patch panel to switch or patch panel to wall outlet links in LANs
• Home office and small business network cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, online gaming and large file transfers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Construction: U/UTP (unscreened twisted pair)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568 wiring
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Strain relief: molded slim line with length indication
• Colour: purple jacket

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port on your devices until the connector latch clicks into place. Use the cable to link switches, routers, patch panels, wall sockets or end devices. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the strain relief; the molded design helps protect the termination point during normal use. For structured cabling, follow the EIA/TIA 568 wiring scheme and keep cables separated from strong electrical interference sources.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor use within standard temperature ranges and should be deployed in routed or cable-managed paths to avoid mechanical stress. For optimal performance in high-density installations, verify port spacing compatibility with the slim line strain relief and avoid running the cable alongside power lines to reduce potential interference.
