Verkkokaapeli Goobay CAT 5e U/UTP 100 m harmaa

The Goobay CAT 5e U/UTP network cable (100 m, grey) transmits data reliably at high speed and is designed for structured home and office networks. The cable features high-quality inner conductors, robust sheathing and precise manufacturing to ensure stable connections when linking routers, switches, computers and other Ethernet-enabled devices.

Advantages

This CAT 5e U/UTP cable supports fast data transfer rates suitable for typical Ethernet applications, offers durable construction for long service life and comes in a 100 m length that simplifies installation across rooms or racks. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance while the precisely fitted cable design reduces connection errors.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems to networked devices
• Wiring home and small office networks
• Patch cabling in racks and network cabinets
• Extending existing Ethernet runs within buildings

How to use

Measure and route the 100 m cable to cover the required distance, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate the U/UTP cable with appropriate RJ45 connectors or patch panels following standard wiring schemes (TIA/EIA 568A or 568B). Test each link with a cable tester to confirm continuity and correct pair mapping before putting the connection into regular use.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep run lengths within Ethernet limits, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines, and use quality connectors and professional termination tools. Choose CAT 5e for typical Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit applications, and consider higher-category cables if future bandwidth needs are expected to increase.
