Verkkokaapeli Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 0,5 m keltainen S/FTP

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 0.5m Yellow S/FTP networking cable is a slim patch cable designed for short connections between network devices. It features S/FTP construction with each pair wrapped in metal foil (PIMF) and an overall braided outer shield, pair sequence compliant with EIA/TIA 568, and molded RJ-45 connectors with slim-line strain relief. Contacts are 50 µin gold plated and the strain relief includes a length indication. The cable is Cat 7 tested up to 600 MHz and is intended for reliable, high-speed data transmission in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (pairs in metal foil plus an overall braid) provides strong protection against electromagnetic interference. The molded slim-line strain relief reduces connector stress and fits standard patch panels. Gold-plated contacts ensure good conductivity and corrosion resistance. Short 0.5 m length and yellow color allow tidy, easily identifiable patching in racks and workspaces.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches, routers and servers
• Patch panels and rack-mounted network equipment
• Desktop and office network connections where color coding is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (PIMF pairs with braided outer shield)
• Category: Cat 7, tested up to 600 MHz
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: 50 µin gold plated
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568
• Product colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports of network devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable for short in-rack or desktop connections. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive tension on the molded strain relief to maintain connector and cable integrity. The slim-line strain relief is compatible with standard patch panel ports.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat 7 S/FTP cable in shielded or well-grounded installations and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for patching; avoid bundling with high-power electrical cables to reduce potential interference.
