Wiha 832-38 musta oranssi läpinäkyvä

The Wiha 832-38 Black Orange Transparent is a hand tool designed for impact and striking tasks. It has a powder-coated safety shell made from malleable cast iron with grooves to secure the faces and handle. The tool combines a hickory shaft with an ergonomic, non-slip profile and two interchangeable striking faces: a medium-soft, wear-resistant black caoutchouc (rubber) face and a hard, colourfast, wear-resistant transparent orange cellulose acetate face. The product is GS-marked for tested safety and weighs approximately 640 g.

Advantages

The powder-coated malleable cast iron housing provides a protective, durable shell that helps clamp faces and handle securely. The hickory shaft offers a balance of strength and shock absorption with an ergonomic non-slip profile for comfortable handling. Two different faces (black rubber and transparent orange cellulose acetate) allow adaptation to a range of tasks while reducing risk of surface damage. GS-tested safety indicates conformity with recognized safety standards.

How to use

Select the striking face appropriate for the task: use the medium-soft black caoutchouc face where impact cushioning is needed to protect surfaces, and the hard transparent orange cellulose acetate face where firmer blows are required. Ensure faces are seated in the housing grooves and the handle is properly clamped before use. Grip the ergonomic hickory shaft firmly and strike with controlled blows appropriate to the material being worked. Inspect faces and housing regularly for wear or damage and replace faces if excessively worn.

Recommendations

For best results, choose the softer black caoutchouc face for delicate tiles or finished surfaces and the hard transparent orange face for masonry or metal where more force is needed. Store the tool dry and check the hickory handle periodically for cracks. Observe usual safety precautions when striking and wear eye protection when working with masonry or sheet metal.
