XLR-liitin ShiverPeaks BS55025 musta kotelo – 3-napainen audio-mikrofoni-/linjaliitin

ShiverPeaks BS55025 is a 3-pin XLR audio connector with a black housing designed for microphone and line-level balanced audio connections. The connector provides a secure mechanical fit and standard contact arrangement for professional audio equipment, allowing reliable signal transfer in live sound, studio recording, broadcast and installed audio systems. Its compact black housing and standard XLR form factor make it suitable for cable assemblies where a robust, industry-standard connector is required.

Advantages

The connector offers a balanced 3-pin XLR interface that minimizes noise and interference for microphone and line signals. Its black housing provides a discreet visual appearance and protection for internal contacts, while the mechanical latch ensures a secure connection during use. The design supports straightforward cable termination and consistent electrical contact for repeated mating cycles.

Suitable for

• Microphone leads and stage cabling
• Line-level audio connections between mixers, preamps and processors
• Studio patching and permanent installations in venues
• Broadcast and OB (outside broadcast) applications requiring balanced connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3-pin balanced XLR
• Housing colour: black
• Contact configuration: standard male/female XLR pin arrangement
• Mounting/termination: cable solder or crimp-compatible termination (dependent on cable end type)
• Contact material: plated contacts for reliable signal conduction
• Mechanical retention: latch/locking mechanism for secure mating

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket and isolating the three conductors. Follow the standard XLR wiring convention for balanced audio: pin 1 = ground/shield, pin 2 = hot/positive, pin 3 = cold/negative. Insert and secure each conductor to the corresponding contact point according to the connector’s termination method, then reassemble the housing. Verify the mechanical latch engages and perform a continuity/short test to confirm correct wiring before connecting to active audio equipment.

Recommendations

Use the connector with balanced microphone and line-level cables to maintain signal integrity. Avoid excessive bending or strain at the termination point and protect connections from moisture and corrosive environments. Periodically inspect contacts for wear and clean with appropriate contact cleaner if intermittent connection is detected.
