ACT 110 metrin monimuotokaapeli 50/125 OM4 sisä-/ulkokaapeli 8 kuitua LC-liittimillä

ACT 110 meter Multimode 50/125 OM4 indoor/outdoor cable 8 fibers with LC connectors is a fiber optic cable designed for short- to medium-range high-bandwidth data transmission. The cable uses 50/125 µm OM4 multimode fibers and terminates in LC connectors, and its construction allows installation in both indoor and outdoor environments where protected routing is available. With an 8-fiber count, it supports parallel links and multiple channel configurations for local area networks, data centers, and building backbones.

Advantages

The multimode OM4 fiber offers improved bandwidth and reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibers, enabling higher data rates over short distances. LC connectors provide a compact, industry-standard termination that is widely compatible with network equipment, optical transceivers, and patch panels. The indoor/outdoor rated jacket provides environmental resistance for routed outdoor paths while remaining suitable for indoor cable trays and conduits.

Suitable for

• Data center horizontal and rack-to-rack connections
• Enterprise LAN backbones and campus networks
• High-density patch panels and blade switch interconnects
• Short- to medium-distance multimode links including parallel optics (e.g., 40G/100G applications)

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Fiber count: 8 fibers
• Connector type: LC connectors (both ends)
• Cable length: 110 meters
• Application: Indoor/outdoor rated jacket for routed outdoor segments and indoor installation
• Typical use: High-bandwidth short- to medium-range optical links

How to use

Route the cable through appropriate trays, conduits, or protected outdoor paths following local installation codes. Terminate or patch the LC connectors into compatible transceivers, patch panels, or adapters. Ensure that bend radius limits for multimode fiber are respected during routing and that connector endfaces are clean before mating to maintain signal quality. Use strain relief and proper securing methods at both ends to avoid mechanical stress on the fibers.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, clean LC connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before installation, avoid exceeding the specified minimum bend radius, and use patch panels or adapters compatible with 8-fiber multimode configurations. For outdoor runs, protect the cable from prolonged direct sunlight and extreme mechanical stress by routing through covered conduits or trays.
