ACT 15 metrin LSZH monimuotokuitu 62.5/125 OM1 -kuituverkkokaapeli duplex SC-liittimillä

The ACT Fiber patch cable duplex 15 meter LSZH Multimode 62.5/125 OM1 with SC connectors is a ready-made multimode fiber assembly designed for indoor network and data center links. This 15 m duplex cable combines two multimode fibers in a single jacket to provide full-duplex data transmission with low attenuation and consistent optical performance. The LSZH outer sheath limits smoke and corrosive gas release in case of fire, making the cable suitable for enclosed environments where safety requirements favor low-smoke, halogen-free materials.

Advantages

The cable delivers reliable multimode connectivity with SC terminations that are easy to install in patch panels and equipment ports. Using 62.5/125 OM1 fiber supports legacy multimode networks and short-distance Ethernet or Fibre Channel links while maintaining stable signal quality. The LSZH jacket reduces hazardous emissions and the duplex construction ensures straightforward full-duplex pairing without separate fiber management. The pre-terminated design minimizes installation time and reduces the potential for connector contamination or mismatch.

Suitable for

• Short-range multimode network links within buildings
• Patch connections in telecommunications rooms and data centers
• Legacy 62.5/125 OM1 multimode Ethernet and Fibre Channel setups
• Indoor installations where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode 62.5/125 µm (OM1)
• Length: 15 meters
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Mode: Duplex (two fibers in one jacket)
• Typical application: Short-distance data and telecom links

How to use

Route the fiber cable along cable trays or pathways avoiding sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC port or patch panel adapter until it clicks into place, ensuring correct orientation for transmit and receive pairs. Use designated cable management clips or ties to secure the cable without compressing the jacket. For testing, verify continuity and optical loss with appropriate fiber test equipment before placing the link into production.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by the housing and keep protective caps on until installation to avoid contamination. Avoid stepping on or pinching the cable and observe recommended bend radius and pulling tension. For improved long-term performance, periodically inspect connector endfaces and clean them with approved fiber cleaning tools when necessary.
