ACT 5 m U/UTP CAT5E ristiinkytketty kytkentäkaapeli musta RJ45-pistokkeilla

The ACT Black 5 meter U/UTP CAT5E Cross RJ45 patch cable is a 5 m cross-over network cable designed for connecting network devices. It features gold-plated RJ45 contacts for stable signal transmission, PVC sheath and four AWG#24 conductors. The cable has a black outer colour (RAL 9011) with a red boot for connector protection and strain relief.

Advantages

The cable supports up to 100 MHz bandwidth and is compatible with CAT5E network standards. Gold-plated connectors reduce corrosion and ensure reliable contact. The PVC sheath provides mechanical protection and flexibility while the AWG#24 conductors balance conductivity and durability. The 5 m length offers flexibility in typical office or home network layouts.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in small office and home networks
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where a cross-over connection is required
• Network testing and patch panel connections in CAT5E infrastructures

Key specifications

• Type: U/UTP CAT5E cross patch cable
• Length: 5 m
• Bandwidth: 100 MHz
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Connector: RJ45 with gold-plated contacts
• Sheath: PVC
• Colour: Black (RAL 9011), boot colour Red
• Brand: ACT, MPN: IB6105, EAN: 8716065128703

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network port of the first device and the other end to the second device requiring a cross-over connection. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the red boot to maintain connector integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this CAT5E cable for connections up to 5 m and within environments that do not exceed the specified 100 MHz bandwidth. Avoid exposure to liquids, extreme temperatures, and mechanical damage; for permanent installations in harsh environments consider shielded or higher-category cables.
