ACT 50 metrin multimode 50/125 OM3 sisä-/ulkokaapeli 4-kuituinen, LC-liittimillä

What are pre-terminated fiber optic cables?
ACT pre-terminated cables are ready-to-use fiber optic installation cables with attached connectors. Pre-terminated fiber optic cables are used to connect different rooms, floors or buildings.
The advantage of using pre-terminated cables is that no investment is needed in tools or test equipment, since the connectors are pre-set and each pre-terminated cable is individually tested after production and provided with a test report.

What are pre-terminated cables used for?
With ACT pre-terminated cables you can easily install a fiber optic cable without the use of tools. Ideal for the system integrator, installer or network administrator who wants to build a high quality and reliable network.

What makes ACT pre-terminated cables so universal?
ACT pre-terminated cables can be used both indoors and outdoors and are suitable for horizontal and vertical use. This means that ACT pre-terminated cables are suitable for several applications:
- Connecting two buildings on a site.
- Installing a cable between different floors.
- Connecting different rooms in a building.
ACT pre-terminated cables comply with the Dca Euroclass of the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR).

Why choose ACT pre-terminated fiber optic cables?
ACT pre-terminated cables are high quality cables. If you choose ACT pre-terminated cables you never have to worry about the quality of your cabling.
ACT pre-terminated cables have excellent optical features. With an average attenuation of 0,1dB and a maximum attenuation of 0,15dB they belong to the top of the market. This means extra leeway in optical budgets and this makes the cables future-proof.

The high-quality construction of ACT pre-terminated cables ensures maximum protection and ease of use. During installation, the vulnerable connectors and fanout cables are optimally protected by a transparent tube on both sides. Due to the robust construction and drawbar eye, the whole can handle up to 350N pulling force. In addition, the protective hose is only 18mm in diameter, making the cable easy to install and it fits through tubes.

Correct installation and correct use of the ACT pre-terminated cables is of great importance. Information about installation and use can easily be found by scanning the QR code on the cable.

ACT 50 meter Multimode 50/125 OM3 indoor/outdoor cable 4 way with LC connectors. Cable length: 50 m, Fibre optic type: OM3, Connector 1: 4x LC, Connector 2: 4x LC, Core diameter: 50 µm

How to use

Install the ACT OM3 pre-terminated cable by routing the slim protective hose through the desired path and pulling the cable using the drawbar eye. Remove the transparent end protection only when you are ready to mate the LC connectors in the patch panels, transceivers or bulkhead adapters. Each cable has been factory tested; connect the LC plugs directly without on-site polishing or termination. Scan the QR code on the cable for installation details and the accompanying test report.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its rated pulling force (up to 350 N) and avoid sharp bends to maintain optical performance. Keep the connector protection boots on until final mating and follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions found via the QR code.
