ACT AK3737 videokaapeliadapteri 5 m HDMI Type-A (Standard) DVI-D musta

The ACT AK3737 HDMI Type A to DVI-D video cable adapter is a 5 m black cable that provides a direct digital connection between HDMI sources and DVI‑D displays. It is bidirectional and intended for digital video transmission to monitors, projectors and media players. The cable uses full copper 30 AWG conductors and gold-plated connectors for stable signal transfer and durability while supporting resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60 Hz. Cable diameter is approximately 6 mm and the product is supplied as a single unit per pack.

Advantages

This cable offers straightforward HDMI-to-DVI-D conversion without active electronics, enabling lossless digital video transfer when connecting compatible devices. The 5 m length gives flexibility in equipment placement, and the use of full copper conductors with gold-plated contacts helps maintain signal integrity and resist corrosion. Bidirectional wiring lets you use the same cable to connect HDMI output to a DVI‑D display or a DVI‑D source to an HDMI display where supported.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This adapter cable carries digital video only; it does not transmit audio from HDMI sources to DVI‑D displays. It is a passive adapter and cannot convert analog DVI‑A or DVI‑I signals to HDMI, nor will it perform any protocol conversion beyond the direct digital connection. Some device combinations may require additional active converters or audio extraction if audio or signal format translation is needed.

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output on your source device and the DVI‑D male end to the DVI‑D input on the display. Secure connectors gently to avoid excessive force. Select the appropriate input on the display and set the source device's output resolution to a supported mode (up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz). Because DVI‑D carries video only, manage audio output separately when needed (for example, via the source device's audio output or an external extractor).

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For best results, set the source device to a resolution and refresh rate supported by the display, keep cable runs free of sharp bends, and ensure connector pins are undamaged before use. If audio is required, route it separately from the video signal.
