ACT RL9745 InfiniBand-kuitu kaapeli 45 m LC I-V(ZN) H violetti

The ACT RL9745 45 m LC I-V(ZN) H OM4 Violet fibre optic cable is a 45-metre multimode OM4 patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and full duplex capability. Designed for environments requiring high-bandwidth short- to medium-range links, the cable uses OM4 fibre to support increased data rates and longer reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The violet jacket and LC connector interface identify the cable type and polarity for organised installations in data centres and network rooms.

Advantages

This fibre cable provides stable, low-loss transmission suitable for 10 Gbps and higher multimode applications where OM4 performance is needed. The LC connector format offers a compact duplex interface that saves panel space and simplifies routing. The 45 m length is practical for connecting patch panels, switches and active equipment across larger racks or between adjacent rooms while maintaining consistent multimode characteristics over the run.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between racks and rows
• High-speed campus and enterprise backbone links
• Connections between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Short- to medium-distance multimode installations requiring OM4 performance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 45 m
• Jacket colour: violet
• Polarity: duplex/full duplex transmission
• Typical applications: 10 Gbps and higher multimode links over short to medium distances

How to use

Inspect the cable ends for cleanliness and remove protective caps before connection. Route the cable following bend radius guidelines to avoid sharp bends or kinks; secure the cable to racks or trays using appropriate ties or organisers to prevent strain. Plug LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on equipment, ensuring correct polarity for duplex links. If necessary, use fibre cleaning tools or LC-specific cleaning wipes to remove dust before insertion to maintain low insertion loss.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, avoid excessive bending and tension, and use appropriate cable management to preserve OM4 performance. Verify compatibility of transceivers and active equipment with OM4 multimode characteristics for optimal link performance.
