AS Schwabe 51011 -jatkojohto — 16 A, 10 m

Extension cable AS Schwabe 51011 — 16 A, 10 m is a flexible mains lead designed to extend electrical power from a fixed wall outlet to devices located farther away. The cable delivers a continuous 16 ampere supply over a 10 metre length and is suitable for everyday household use as well as light professional tasks that require a standard 16 A connection. The construction and insulation meet common safety expectations for indoor and protected outdoor use where moisture and mechanical strain are limited.

Advantages

This extension cable provides a reliable 16 A current capacity over a 10 m run, allowing safe operation of appliances and power tools rated for that supply. The length gives flexible placement of devices without relocating the fixed outlet. The cable is designed for easy handling and storage while minimising voltage drop within the specified distance. Durable insulation and plug/socket fit aim to reduce contact resistance and maintain stable power delivery during normal use.

How to use

Connect the plug end of the extension cable to a compatible earthed mains outlet and attach the device to the socket end; ensure the connected device’s rated current does not exceed 16 A. Lay the cable so it does not create tripping hazards or run across hot surfaces and avoid sharp bends. For outdoor use, ensure connections are protected from direct rain and standing water. Regularly inspect the cable, plug and socket for damage before use and disconnect from the mains when not in use.

Recommendations

For safe operation, use the extension cable only within its 16 A rating and 10 m length. Do not use the cable to permanently extend fixed wiring or in situations with continuous heavy loads above the rated current. Avoid placing the cable where it can be pinched, run through doorways, or exposed to chemical agents or high temperatures. If the insulation or connectors show damage, discontinue use and replace the cable.
