Lindy 2 m LC-SC OS2 9/125 kuitupatch-kaapeli

The Lindy 2m LC-SC OS2 9/125 Fibre Optic Patch Cable is a singlemode cable designed for high-speed data transmission in telecom and network environments. With a 2 metre length and LC to SC connectors, it supports full duplex communication and is suitable for connections in data centres, server rooms and other high-bandwidth applications. The 9/125 µm core/cladding specification (OS2) provides low attenuation for long-distance links, while ceramic ferrules in the connectors help maintain low signal loss and reliable mating with standard fibre-optic equipment.

Advantages

The cable offers low signal attenuation and stable performance thanks to its OS2 singlemode fibre and ceramic connector ferrules. Its LC to SC termination provides broad compatibility with common network hardware. The 2 m length balances reach and manageability for rack and patch-panel installations, and the full duplex capability enables simultaneous bidirectional data transfer.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting equipment in data centres and server rooms
• Telecommunications links requiring singlemode OS2 fibre
• Patch-panel and rack connections with LC and SC ports
• High-speed network backbones and point-to-point links

Key specifications

How to use

Ensure both ends are clean before installation to avoid contamination-related signal loss. Plug the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port on the respective devices or patch panels, taking care to align the ferrules correctly. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; observe the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for singlemode fibre. Test the link after installation to verify optical power levels and continuity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dust-free environment and use dust caps when connectors are not in use. For long-term reliability, perform regular inspection and cleaning of connectors and avoid bending the cable beyond its specified limits.
