Asennussarja U-profiili 20 mm LED-nauhoille EUROLITE 20000522

EUROLITE mounting set U-profile 20 mm for LED strip 20000522 provides a 20 mm wide U-shaped aluminium channel designed to house, align and protect LED tape in indoor installations. The profile organizes the LED strip, helps with passive heat dissipation from the diode line and creates a neat, straight mounting line whether the channel is recessed or surface-mounted. This mounting set is intended for use with commonly available 20 mm wide LED strips and accessories compatible with the EUROLITE series.

Advantages

The aluminium U-profile offers a slim and rigid support for LED tape, improving the appearance and mechanical protection of the strip while enabling better thermal contact for heat spreading. Its U-shaped geometry keeps the strip aligned for an even light output and simplifies installation along straight runs. The set is appropriate for indoor environments where a low-profile, durable channel is required to conceal wiring and secure the LED strip.

How to use

Measure and cut the aluminium U-profile to the required length, taking care to maintain straight edges. Position the LED strip centrally inside the 20 mm channel and secure it according to the strip's attachment method (adhesive backing or mechanical clips). Mount the profile in the desired location, either recessed into a groove or fixed to the surface with appropriate screws or adhesive depending on the substrate. Route and connect wiring following standard low-voltage installation practices and ensure power is disconnected while making electrical connections.

Recommendations

Use LED strips that match the 20 mm inner width to ensure a secure fit and even light distribution. For improved longevity, provide adequate ventilation around the aluminium profile and avoid exposure to outdoor moisture. Use appropriate mounting hardware for the installation surface and follow safety guidelines for low-voltage DC lighting systems.
