AV-lähetin ja -vastaanotin Digitus 4K HDMI -jatkokesarja CAT / IP kautta

The 4K HDMI via IP Extender Set (DS-55122) is a video distribution system that transmits 4K HDMI signals over network cabling. It includes a transceiver unit capable of extending 4K (3840x2160p, 30 Hz) video up to 120 m over a CAT6 cable in a point-to-point setup. When used with additional receiver units (DS-55123) and a network switch, the system can deliver video to up to 253 displays via an existing IP network. The unit supports HDCP 1.4 and common Ethernet cabling types for flexible installation.

Advantages

The system supports both direct CAT6 point-to-point extension and distribution over an existing local network, allowing signal extension to virtually unlimited distance via IP. It supports 4K resolution at 30 Hz and a maximum HDMI bandwidth of 10.2 Gbit/s. The extender is compatible with CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT7 cables and includes a unidirectional IR interface for remote control of the source device.

Key specifications

• Model: DS-55122 (transceiver)
• Receiver compatibility: DS-55123 (additional units required)
• Supported resolution: 4K 3840x2160p @ 30 Hz
• Maximum HDMI bandwidth: 10.2 Gbit/s
• Cable types supported: CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, CAT7
• Point-to-point extension range: up to 120 m via CAT6
• IP distribution: up to 253 displays via existing network
• HDCP support: HDCP 1.4
• IR: integrated unidirectional IR interface for remote control

How to use

Connect the transceiver unit (DS-55122) to the HDMI source and run a CAT6 cable to the display for a direct point-to-point link up to 120 m. For multi-display distribution, connect the transceiver and receiver units (DS-55123) to a network switch using compatible network cables and configure the IP network so the transceivers and receivers communicate. Use the integrated IR interface to control the HDMI source remotely from receiver locations. Ensure HDCP compatibility between source and displays and select suitable cable types for the required distances.

Recommendations

Use high-quality shielded CAT6 or CAT7 cables for best 4K performance over longer runs, verify HDCP version compatibility of source and displays, and add DS-55123 receiver units as needed to reach the desired number of screens when distributing via an IP network.
