AV-vastaanotin Lindy 4K30 HDMI ja USB over IP -järjestelmä – dekooderi

The Lindy 4K30 HDMI and USB over IP system is a modular solution for distributed AV and KVM installations. It consists of separate Encoder (No. 38396), Decoder (No. 38397) and Controller (No. 38395) modules, each sold separately so you can build and scale the installation to your needs. The system connects a single HDMI source, such as a PC or media player, to an Encoder module and a single HDMI display to a Decoder module; multiple Encoders and Decoders can be combined to create multicast, matrix and video wall configurations over a managed network.

Advantages

The system supports both video distribution and USB KVM control, allowing remote control of source PCs from Decoder-side KVM consoles. It provides a JPEG2000 main stream and H.264/H.265 secondary stream, and exposes an API for integration with third-party control applications. Modules can be connected using a 1G managed switch with IGMP snooping and 8K jumbo frame support, and PoE can power units where available, eliminating the need for a separate PSU.

Key specifications

• Components: Encoder (38396), Decoder (38397), Controller (38395) — modules sold separately
• Video: up to 4K30 main stream (JPEG2000), H.264/H.265 secondary stream
• Network: requires Layer 3 1G managed switch with IGMP snooping and 8K Jumbo frame
• Connectivity: HDMI input to Encoder, HDMI output from Decoder; multiple Encoders/Decoders supported for multicast/matrix/video wall
• USB: KVM support for remote control of connected PCs
• Control: API support for third-party control apps; Controller module manages routing between sources and displays
• Power: PoE support (optional) or local PSU

How to use

Connect each HDMI source (PC or media player) to an Encoder module and each display to a Decoder module. Link all modules to a Layer 3 1G managed switch that supports IGMP snooping and 8K jumbo frames; use PoE if you want to power modules via the switch. Install the Controller module on the same network to manage routing and direct sources to displays. For KVM functionality, attach USB devices at the Decoder side to control PCs connected to Encoders. Use the provided API or third-party control apps to automate routing, presets and multicast distribution.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, deploy the system on a Layer 3 1G managed switch with IGMP snooping and 8K Jumbo frame enabled, and plan module placement to match your desired multicast, matrix or video wall topology. Purchase Encoder, Decoder and Controller modules separately to scale the system as required.
